Terms of Use
Participation in My Chabad Auction deems acceptance of the terms and conditions below.
Prizes will be awarded and if winner is not present at the drawing, winner will be notified by email, phone, mail, fax, or in person, at My Chabad Auction's discretion. Tickets and prizes are nontransferable and non-refundable. Substitution of prizes or cash equivalent are allowed at My Chabad Auction's discretion only. By entering My Chabad Auction, each participant releases My Chabad Auction and its agents from all responsibility or liability for damages, losses, or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize.
Payment of Federal Taxes, State Taxes, Local Taxes, surcharges, and delivery charges are the responsibility of the raffle winner and will be paid by the raffle winner. Raffle winner is responsible for making arrangements to pick up the item(s) won in a timely manner. Any item not picked up by March 26, 2015 will be shipped. My Chabad Auction is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in My Chabad Auction or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the orders in My Chabad Auction. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Confirmation of your ticket (including number(s) where applicable) will be mailed or emailed upon receipt of your entry form and payment. You must save this mail, since it will be your raffle ticket(s). A printed copy of the raffle ticket(s) is required and must be presented to claim any prizes.
For some items there must be a minimum number of tickets SOLD. This excludes any free tickets that may be offered in addition to tickets sold.
My Chabad Auction reserves the right to substitute a cash prize, or a similar prize of approximately the same value, at its own discretion, for any item offered at My Chabad Auction. When pictures are shown, the actual item may vary from the picture which is used as a guideline. In the event that you win a prize or prizes, you accept all prizes "as is", with no warranty from My Chabad Auction. This does not affect the manufacturer's warranty if it exists.
My Chabad Auction provides all the items in good faith. In the event that an item which was won proves to be faulty, My Chabad Auction will attempt to have it repaired or replaced by the donor. If this is not possible, My Chabad Auction limits its liability to the cost of the winning ticket which My Chabad Auction agrees to refund if so requested to do so.
The drawing date, time and location may be changed at the discretion of My Chabad Auction. If any prize winner cannot present the printed copy of the email, or stub of the raffle ticket (with the ticket number on it, when applicable), in order to claim their prize, or if there is any other circumstance in which the winners may not accept the prizes, that prize winner will be eliminated and a new drawing will be held as soon as possible thereafter. Folded and/or mutilated tickets will be disqualified.
Proceeds will benefit The Chabad of Hunterdon County Scholarship fund, providing scholarships to underprivileged children and their families for school and summer camp.
You agree to be bound by the above stated terms and conditions which are the official rules of My Chabad Auction.
